CELSOL CMC Paint Grade functions as high performance rheology modifier, thickener, suspending agent, cling improver, and moisture retention agent in water based paints and coatings. It is rapidly dispersible, resistant to bacteria attack, consistent and stable in temperature variation. This product is a high viscosity thickener, and it offers smooth rheology control, efficient suspension ability, and and pigment suspension for evenly mixed and maintained uniform liquid, extended shelf life, and improved cling and smooth flow.
- CELSOL CMC Paper grade improves the water retention value of coatings and prevent the water-soluble adhesive migrating into the paper, thereby improving the leveling property of coatings and improve the quality of the coating.
- CELSOL CMC when used in surface sizing, the paper can increase stiffness and smoothness, improve the surface strength and air permeability, control curl and obtain good printability it can make the surface get very good closed nature and ink receptivity, so that color printing is clear and bright, saving ink.
- CELSOL CMC is used Oral pharmaceutical formulations like Syrups, Suspensions & Tablets, wound care, dermatological patches. It is Chemically stable, physiologically inert & Non-toxic excipient.

CELSOL CMC is used as a food stabilizer in dairy products like ice cream, yogurt and milk. It is also a constituent of some of the popular beverages and syrups. It is also found in baked products, pet foods, frozen doughs, salad dressing, processed cheese products, meat products, concentrate juices, squashes and beverages. Its E number is E 466.
CMC and PAC can be used in drilling fluid, fixing fluid and fracturing fluid. In drilling fluid, it works as viscosifier, filtration reducer, and rheology controller; in fixing fluid, it is used to control fluid viscosity, suspend heavy objects, and avoid fluid loss; also in fracturing fluid, it is used to carry stuffing and avoid fluid loss.
CELSOL CMC is used as Thickener in Tooth paste. It prevents separation of ingredients & keeps the paste stable with proper shape
- CELSOL CMC has emulsifying and protecting colloid properties.It plays a role in preventing dirt from reattachment during the washing process.
- CELSOL CMC enables the fabric after washing to be soft and reduce skin irritation.
- In making soap, adding an appropriate amount of CELSOL CMC helps to greatly improve the quality of soap. Its mechanism and advantages are the same as the application in synthetic detergent on the one hand. On the other hand, CMC Detergent enables soap to be pliable and flexible and thus convenient for pressing and processing.
- In textile industry, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose can work sizing agent for the warp sizing of fabrics.

- In print paste of rayon fiber, CELSOL CMC is the thickening agent as well as the emulsifying agent, so it helps to uniformly mix the dye with high boiling point cleaning solvent with as well as to stabilize the dye suspension and thus to prevent the occurrence of sedimentation and the formation of foam in storage.
- As suspending agent of printing paste, CELSOL CMC mainly used in printing and dyeing.It has good viscosity stability,Good distribution uniformity of DS (degree of substitution),Good fluidity of solution in the color paste system, Higher washable performance in the washing process after printing and dyeing ,significantly improve the printing paste paste type,used for reactive dye printing for cotton fabrics as textile printing thickener, with a good colour yield, handle, penetration.
Adding CELSOL CMC in Ceramic slurry can improve such properties of ceramic slurry as dispersion suspension, fluidity, water retention, viscosity, bond strength, and de-agglomeration.
